Attorney Recruiting & Development Specialist (DFM #609)

High-profile, international law firm in Dallas is seeking an Attorney Recruiting & Development Specialist to provide assistance within the Attorney Recruiting and Development Department and for assisting with all aspects of the Texas office’s attorney recruiting and development functions under the general supervision and direction of the Attorney Recruiting and Development Manager.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties are performed throughout every work day, as necessary):

 

  • Assist in planning and executing the Dallas Summer Associate program, including but not limited to monitoring Summer Associate workload reports, responding to day-to-day Summer Associate questions and/or concerns, assigning attorney mentors, budgeting and organizing social events
  • Participate in all Dallas Summer Associate events
  • Support and promote on-campus recruiting events and interviews for the Texas offices, including organizing and hosting hospitality suites, booking attorney travel, preparing materials, scheduling interviews, meeting candidates, and tracking and facilitating follow up with attorneys for evaluations
  • Enter and maintain applicant data and correspondence in recruiting database for all Texas offices
  • Assist in all aspects of interview scheduling which may include booking travel and hotel and generating candidate correspondence
  • Work with the Attorney Recruiting and Development Manager – Texas and the Attorney
  • Recruiting and Development Coordinator in Houston with recruiting, professional development/training, diversity and women’s initiative events and committee meetings as needed
  • Attend Recruiting Administrators of Dallas meetings and events
  • Process check requests and expense reports
  • Additional tasks and projects as needed

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

EDUCATIONAL/JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative position required, with at least one year of experience in legal recruiting in a law firm desired

 

Firm provides an excellent benefit package along with new, beautiful offices in Uptown!  Hours are:  9:00-5:30 Monday-Friday along with overtime availability!

 

Salary:  $55,000-60,000+ DOE
