Well-known, international law firm is seeking a BioTech Patent Agent with excellent academic credentials to join their collaborative and dynamic Intellectual Property and Technology practice. The firm’s IP&T team regularly collaborates with other of the firm’s practice areas-including litigation, licensing, corporate law, venture capital, franchising, advertising, international trade, antitrust and tax-to advise their clients strategically and comprehensively.
-Draft and prosecute domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences.
-Conduct technical research to support clients’ technology.
-Provide technical support for the practice.
-Is conscientious with a proven attention to detail
-Possesses strong analytical skills and an ability to convey technical ideas concisely and effectively
-Embraces teamwork and works effectively with others
-PhD in a life science discipline is required
-Law firm or PTO experience is not required, but is a plus
-Excellent communication skills
