Well-known, Texas-based law firm in Dallas is seeking Commercial Real Estate Attorneys with 4+ years of real estate experience to support Shareholder and his team who practices in the Real Estate, Business & Corporate, Financial Services, and Distressed Assets Practice areas. He focuses on real estate, lending, corporate and federal taxation matters, including fund formation and operational matters which impact promoters, operators and developers governed by SEC Regulation D. In addition, he has significant experience in the formation and operation of commercial and residential condominiums, transactions involving ground leases and tenancy in common forms of ownership, the formation and operation of mitigation banks, as well as the federal tax aspects of real estate acquisition, leasing, lending and disposition transactions.
-Heavy drafting in sophisticated matters
-Experience with development agreements, financing transactions (from the borrower side), title and survey understanding, and broad experience in drafting lease
-Entity formation and related taxation issue experience is helpful but not required
-Experience with land use as well as commercial condominiums is helpful but not necessary
-Broad based transactional background primarily representing developers in development transactions is highly desirable
-Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office along with familiarity with other software
-J.D. from an accredited Top 20 law school
-State Bar of Texas License
-Four to twenty plus years working within a law firm environment
-Firm is seeking someone entrepreneurial, hard working along with exceptional writing and legal research skills
-Team player and outstanding work ethic
