Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist (DFM #788)

Well-known, Texas-based law firm is seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist to assist the Chief Talent Officer and her team!

 

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for maintaining all employee personnel files (active and term’s) and recruiting candidate files, applicant documents, record keeping, etc.

-Assists in maintaining human resources information system records (HRIS), data entry and compiles reports from the database and record keeping of hard copy and e-files in accordance with Firm and HR department policy, procedures and all federal, local and state laws and regulatory requirements.

-Assists with payroll functions and benefit administration.

-Submits employee reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data and processing to appropriate contact for review, filing and data entry.

-Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping HR information confidential.

-Provides support by entering, formatting, copying and printing information; organizing work; relaying messages maintaining materials and supplies needed for HR department, new hire orientation and training events as assigned.

-Assists and monitors the performance evaluation and core competency programs under the direction of the Chief Talent Officer or assigned project supervisor.

-Under the direction of the Chief Talent Officer and the recruiting committee, this role will coordinate and assist with the Summer Clerk Program process, etc.

-Assist in posting job openings in various media and agency search firms as approved by the Chief Talent Officer or assigned project supervisor.

-Schedules and coordinates candidate interviews by setting appointments and transmitting confirmation of meetings and informs job applicants of their status.

-Assists in conducting and organizing new hire orientation and welcomes new employees to the organization by communicating dates and document requirements for first day orientation.

-Organizes new hire’s compliance training course with TPV including maintaining the inventory of orientation materials, and supplies, new hire packets, benefits enrollment forms and notifying key stakeholders involved in orientation, etc.

-Participate and attend HR department meetings as required.

 

Requirements:

-Four year undergraduate degree required.

-Four to Six years of HR experience working in a law firm or professional services environment.

Salary:

-$60,000-65,000
