Insurance Defense Litigation Legal Secretary (DFM #885)

Litigation boutique in downtown Dallas has an immediate need for a Litigation Legal Secretary to support very busy partners and associates!  Job duties will include providing administrative and clerical support to these attorneys.  Must have at least 5+ year’s experience in similar capacity at a law firm.  Candidates will have proven tack record in position requiring strong attention to detail, demonstrated efficiency, and strong work ethic.  Must be a team player who is flexible and proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail along with superb computer proficiency!

 

Responsibilities:

-Prepare legal documents including correspondence, discovery, pleadings, etc.

-Download files from clients and other parties.

-Upload files to secure folders for transmittal to clients.

-Download and save court filings and distribute to team members.

-E-filing in State and Federal Courts

-Ability to work with a high case load including but not limited to document management, asssisting with coordination of calendars, and case related deadlines.

-Other administrative tasks assigned.

 

Qualifications:

-Excellent organizational skills

-Attention to detail

-Ability to follow direction and procedures

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Ability to prioritize workload and assigments

-Experience and knowledge of calendaring deadlines based on local, state, and federal rules

Salary:  $65,000-70,000 DOE
