Our client, a full-service defense litigation firm, with a long presence in the Dallas area, is seeking a Litigation Attorney.  Their practice encompasses litigation in products liability, personal injury, trucking, transportation, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation.

If you are an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience and are looking for your next opportunity, our client offers a chance to take the next career step and further your litigation skills by taking depositions, attending hearings, and developing and executing litigation strategy on cases.  Most importantly, for those willing to learn, this is an opportunity to work with and be guided seasoned trial lawyers who will encourage you to develop your skills.

 

For attorneys with litigation experience, 6-12 years, they have openings for candidates interested in a challenging litigation position.  You will defend product liability and general liability cases in both State and Federal Courts.  You will be given significant responsibility, including motions, discovery, case management and development of litigation strategy.  The position offers the opportunity to litigate against accomplished opponents in high-exposure cases.

 

Qualifications:

-JD from an ABA accredited law school

-Admitted to practice in Texas

-Litigation experience within a law firm

-Superior analytical skills and ability to navigate novel legal issues

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Deposition and law and motion experience preferred

-Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment

 

Responsibilities:

-Manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end

-Work closely with other attorneys on legal projects

-Effectively communicate with clients

-Regularly handle court appearances, written discovery, motion practice, and depositions
