High-profile, national law firm in Uptown is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Wealth Preservation Practice Group! The firm works with high net worth individuals, fiduciaries, financial institutions and charities.    The attorneys develop, implement and defend innovative and comprehensive planning strategies to address clients’ wealth transfer and asset protection objectives in a tax efficient manner.  They are focused on defense of clients in IRS audits and representation of individual and entity fiduciaries in matters related to estates and trusts.

With a particular focus on representing the super affluent, the Wealth Preservation Practice Group counsels closely held business owners, investors, executives of publicly traded companies and their families in all aspects of wealth preservation, protection and transfer, and related litigation maters.


Experience & Responsibilities:


-Must have at least 4 years of litigation experience.

-Experience in a trusts and estates practice is preferred.

-Focus on fiduciary and tax litigation.

-Must have excellent communication skills

-Able to manage a diverse caseload with little supervision.

-Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

-Prepare and file pleadings.

-Draft client correspondence.

-Perform document review.

-Assist with discovery.

-Maintain a calendar of docket events and deadlines.


Qualified candidates must meet at least two of the following four criteria:

(1) 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm;

(2) Bachelor’s Degree

(3) Paralegal certificate

(4) Certified Legal Assistant
