Texas-based, high-profile, law firm is seeking a Litigation Support Paralegal, who will provide support to the Firm’s attorneys in managing large-scale litigation, designing and implementing databases for managing, sorting, indexing and abstracting large volumes of data produced in litigation. This position may assist in the preparation of documents or exhibits for trial, as well as assist with technology in the courtroom.

-Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint 2007, Microsoft Movie Maker, Paint Shop Pro
-Verify data integrity, export data, reformat and convert data
-Strong organizational skills
-Ability to mange multiple, competing priorities in a time-sensitive and high-pressure environment
-Ability to maintain and troubleshoot databases
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document management system
-Ability to determine work priorities and seek out help when necessary
-Excellent oral and written communication skills to advise all levels of personnel on complex technical issues
-Ability to work independently under a supervising attorney
-Ability to work under pressure and to facilitate solutions; a self-starter with minimal supervision required
-Experience with DataCert, ECF Filing, LegalExchange and Archon a plus!
Required: 2+ years of litigation support analyst/specialist/paralegal experience with a law firm or corporate legal department, including case management, trial preparation and electronic discovery, deploying and using litigation software.
Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred: 4 year Bachelor’s degree with Paralegal designation or certificate
The firm provides an excellent benefit package along with beautiful offices in Uptown. Paid overtime, 120 billables/month.
