A mid-sized, full-service law firm with offices in Dallas and Houston and currently celebrating their 30th anniversary, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator.  The firm provides professional services for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to medium-sized public and private companies to entrepreneurs.  The firm also handles a wide array of transactional, litigation, employment, and bankruptcy matters in Texas and throughout the country.

The firm is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their dynamic team, which allows for the sharing of ideas and direct contact with firm leadership. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the CMO to support the firm’s critical marketing and business development activities, initiatives, and strategies. The right candidate must deliver consistent, high-quality support. Excellent writing skills, superior organizational skills, and a keen eye for details are critical for success in the position and at the core of this role.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing pitches for prospective and existing clients.
  • Supporting practice group leaders with business development goals and initiatives.
  • Coordinating the scheduling of practice groups and other marketing-specific meetings as needed, including lunch and AV support.
  • Creating, proofreading, and revising PowerPoint and other branded materials for speaking engagements, presentations, and pitch opportunities.
  • Researching clients, prospects, industries, conferences, and membership organizations, as well as summarizing findings into presentable formats.
  • Coordinating calendars and topics with practice group members in publishing/posting timely blogs, client alerts, and other relevant publications.
  • Maintaining a database of industry-specific organizations contacts and speaking and writing opportunities.
  • Drafting social media posts around practice groups, industry-specific events, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Facilitating and maintaining updates to attorney bios, practice group descriptions, images, and relevant videos to the firm website.
  • Ensuring all marketing and business development content reflects relevant/recent experience and accolades.
  • Tracking results and ROI on business development activities and initiatives.
  • Running monthly analytics reports for website, social media platforms, and other business development-related resources.
  • Managing deadlines and coordinating content for Chambers USA/Global, Best Lawyers, and other similar submissions.
  • Assisting in the planning and distribution of eMarketing campaigns.

 

Requirements/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2 to 3 years previous law firm marketing or professional services experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate (strong oral and written communication skills) effectively with a broad range of internal and external audiences.
  • Detail-focused. A high level of accuracy is a must.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Proficiency with social media platforms – LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Experience writing, editing, and proofreading materials a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Some graphics experience (InDesign) preferred but not required.

 

The firm provides an excellent benefit package along with beautiful offices in downtown Dallas.

 

Salary:  $50,000-60,000 DOE
