International law firm in Dallas is seeking a Recruiting and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Coordinator.  The firm is a leading law firm that is known worldwide for its unique depth and experience in the energy, infrastructure, finance and technology sectors.   The firm boasts an impressive and diversified array of market-leading substantive practices, including award-winning transactional, litigation, regulatory and government relations practices.

 

Summer Associate Program:  Plan and oversee Dallas summer associate program in conjunction with firm wide Recruiting Team.

Duties to include:

-Participating in the planning of firm-wide orientation.

-Coordinating local office orientation and training sessions and tracking all expenses for the firm wide budget.

-Planning and attending social events.

-Facilitating the offer process by collecting and analyzing feedback and drafting offer letters.

 

 Recruiting: Participate in the execution of the firm wide campus outreach strategy.

Duties to include:

-Acting as point of contact for designated law student groups at target law schools.

-Considering outreach opportunities, including those to diverse law student groups, to help  meet their 1L and 2L recruiting objectives.

-Handling review of and response to all applications for Dallas and sharing with Hiring Partner, as needed.

-Disseminating on-campus recruiting materials for OCI interviewers and providing support throughout the process.

-Scheduling callback interviews and gathering feedback.

-Facilitating offer process by drafting and sending offer letters, managing follow up efforts and tracking offer responses.

 Operations:  Work with team to ensure our external information is presented in an effective and timely fashion.

Duties to include:

-Suggesting website and intranet updates to ensure the most current information, statistics and other media (videos, etc.) are shared with both external and internal audiences.

-Working with marketing team on recruiting br0chures and social media content.

-Coordinating with gift items throughout the year to include recruiting season and summer program swag items as well as gifts for  bar exam and holiday time periods.

 

Diversity & Inclusion:  Work with Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Community Outreach to support firm wide D&I initiatives.

Duties to include:

-Assisting with completing diversity & inclusion data requests, questionnaires and reports, including RFPs, client reports and firm wide surveys and certifications.

-Assisting with creating, managing and executing diversity & inclusion events and programming.

-Supporting the Diversity & Inclusion Committee in developing and implementing their goals and objectives.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree required.

-Minimum of 2-3  years of experience in a law firm or other professional services environment.

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including the ability to build and maintain spreadsheets, utilize pivot tables and advanced formulas in Excel.

-Proficiency with applicant tacking software (viRecruit preferred).

-Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.

 

Working Conditions:

-The position requires a presence in the office, and the firm requires all personnel in the office to be fully vaccinated for COVID, subject to an approved religious or medical accommodation.  Proof of vaccination will be required upon hire.

-Ability to work OT as needed.
