Mid-sized, full-service law firm, with clients nationwide, is seeking a Senior Corporate Real Estate Paralegal to join their busy Real Estate Practice Group.  If you are a goal-oriented, team player who can juggle various projects, this position is for you!

 

The Role:

Law firm is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented self starter to join the firm as a Senior Paralegal for their Corporate Real Estate Group.  You will work under the supervision of the supervising attorneys and provide support to the Corporate Real Estate Practice Group.  Responsibilities include reviewing title commitments, surveys, and leases, as well as running client projects and drafting documents, depending on goals and experience.  Must possess an analytical and logical mind, be proactive and a team player.

 

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:

-Ability to review and organize client records.

-Prepares correspondence between parties, such as client and title companies, lenders, surveyors, appraisers, etc.

-Prepares/assists with comprehensive and detailed title and survey objections and resolution of title issues.

-Generates and reviews closing documents, including settlement agreements.

-Assists with status reports and lease abstracts.

-Maintain electronic and hard copy matter files per firm procedures.

-Consistent follow-through and ability to balance priorities while meeting deadlines.

-Assists with and/or attends client meetings as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

-Minimum of eight (8) years of paralegal experience in Commercial Real Estate.

-Paralegal certificate required.

-Four (4) year undergraduate degree preferred.

-A minimum of four (4) to five (5) years’ experience reviewing land titles and surveys.

-Substantial experi8ence with commercial leasing and purchase and sale documentation preferred.

-Must have superior proofreading skills and be able to coordinate the execution of commercial contracts and leases, with attorney oversight.

-Must have exceptional computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office products, (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Adobe software).

-Experience working with various practice and case management databases (iManage) and timekeeping and billing systems.

Salary:  $90,000-$100,000
