Job Description:

For more than 35 years, this high-profile, Texas-based law firm has successfully represented clients in every area of family law.  The firm primarily handles divorces and marital agreements for high-net-worth clients with complex property and business issues.  The firm is seeking a senior Family Law Paralegal with litigation experience to support a Partner/Associate in a very busy practice area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must have strong litigation skills in family law supporting attorneys within a law firm practice.
  • Must be proficient in preparing discovery, pleadings, and trial binders.
  • E-filing with the various courts.
  • Confident in managing dockets,deadlines, and court filings.
  • Good client communication skills.
  • Trial experience in preparation and attendance.
  • Proficiency in legal software (Clio) and Mac-based systems.

Qualifications:

  • Strong litigation skills in family law.
  • Must be experienced with Texas family law litigation.
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in family law litigation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in trial preparation.
  • This position is on-site.

Salary:  $75,000-$85,000 DOE
