Job Description:

A fast-paced, high-volume, personal injury law firm, is seeking a skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in their Dallas office!  This role involves managing personal injury cases using advanced technology to ensure superior client service.  The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach, demonstrating leadership skills while working collaboratively with a dedicated team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage a docket of pre-litigation personal injury cases.
  • Investigate coverage and develop theories of liability and damage models.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to facilitate efficient case resolutions.
  • Negotiate settlements for personal injury claims.
  • Analyze medical records and bills to aid in case development.
  • Supervise legal support staff, providing detailed direction on cases.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis of settlements versus litigation.
  • Keep clients informed about the status of their cases.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed attorney in Texas and in good standing.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and advocacy for clients.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, adjusters, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Texas insurance laws.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of the pre-litigation process.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
