Job Description:

Fast-paced, high-volume personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled Pre-Litigation Attorney to join their growing team in Channelview, Texas. This role invovles managing Personal Injury cases using advanced technology to ensure superior client service. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach, demonstrating leadership skills while working collaboratively with a dedicated team!

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage a docket of pre-litigation personal injury cases.
Investigate coverage and develop theories of liability and damage models.
Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers to facilitate efficient case resolutions.
Negotiate settlements for personal injury claims.
Analyze medical records and bills to aid in case development.
Supervise legal support staff.
Provide detailed direction on cases.
Perform cost-benefit analysis of settlement versus litigation.
Will keep clients informed about the status of their cases.

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed attorney in Texas.
Proven experience in negotiation and advocacy for clients.
Ability to interact professionally with clients, adjusters, and colleagues.
Familiarity with Texas insurance laws.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Knowledge of the pre-litigation process.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
1-3 years experience.
