Senior Municipal Litigation Attorney (DFM #301)

Responsible for providing high level legal analysis with respect to complex procedural and strategic issues in state and federal court.

Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and discovery as to form and procedural content, preparing procedural road maps for upcoming court filings, advising attorneys and clients on all matters of court rules, civil procedure, filing protocol, and the calculation of deadlines, and attend hearings and meet with clients.

Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.

Regularly handling court appearances and depositions.

Overseeing and performing calendaring functions related to litigation deadlines for all contested matters and regularly commuting deadlines to attorneys.

Research and retrieval of court documents, reviewing and filing of clients and Firm court documents.

Areas of practice:  litigation and appellate, civil rights, constitutional law, municipal land use, zoning and ordinance defense, housing discrimination, employment law, personal injury, and construction law.
